BP says oil still leaking into sea from well
LONDON |
LONDON May 20 (Reuters) - BP (BP.L) said oil was still leaking into the sea from its well in the Gulf of Mexico despite earlier saying it was capturing 5,000 barrels of oil per day -- the level the oil major previously said was leaking in total.
"It's not everything that's coming out," a spokesman said, in relation to the amount that is being captured after a tube was inserted into the leaking pipe to siphon the oil.
