GM recalls 1.365 million vehicles

DETROIT (Reuters) - General Motors Co GM.UL on Monday:

* Recalled 1.365 million U.S. vehicles, from model years 2006-2009 including Chevrolet, GMC, Hummer and Saturn models - US regulator

* GM recall to address problems with electrical system that could lead to fire in heated washer module

* GM recall fix is for dealers to remove heated washer fluid module, safety recall to begin mid-June

* GM recall involves five Chevy models, five Cadillac models, two Buick models, four GMC models, and one hummer and one Saturn model

* GM says recall involves 1.5 million crossovers, trucks and cars, mainly large vehicles, from model year 2007 to 2009

* GM says it will disable heated fluid washer, and as compensation give each consumer affected $100

* GM< says there have been no reports of injuries or crashes related to the heated washer issue

* GM says recall involves 1.365 million U.S. vehicles, about 98,800 in Canada, and another 64,000 in Mexico and elsewhere

* GM says it knows of five fires resulting from overheated washer units since June 2009
