Gas Natural obtains 450 mln euro EIB loan

MADRID, June 11 (Reuters) - Spanish power firm Gas Natural (GAS.MC) said on Friday it had obtained a 450 million euro ($541.7 million) loan from the European Investment Bank to finance investments in electricity grids in Spain.

The 15-year financing does not require any payment for the first three years, the company said in a statement.

Gas Natural is Spain's largest gas and electricity utility after buying Union Fenosa last year. ($1=.8307 Euro) (Reporting by Tracy Rucinski; editing by Simon Jessop)
