BP says cap collected 15,400 barrels of oil June 10

HOUSTON, June 11 (Reuters) - BP Plc (BP.L) (BP.N) said on Friday that its containment cap system on a blown-out well in the Gulf of Mexico captured 15,400 barrels of oil on Thursday, slightly lower than the 15,800 barrels collected in the previous 24-hour period.

The cumulative total collected since the system began operating a week ago reached 88,700 barrels with Thursday's tally, according to BP figures. (Reporting by Kristen Hays)
