Russia says U.S. and EU Iran sanctions unacceptable
MOSCOW |
MOSCOW (Reuters) - Russia on Thursday said that additional sanctions the United States and European Union are imposing on Iran on top of measures approved by the U.N. Security Council last week were "unacceptable."
"For us, attempts to place oneself above the Security Council in this way are unacceptable," the Foreign Ministry said in a statement. It said the additional sanctions would undermine efforts to cooperate on resolving tension over Iran's nuclear program.

These latest proposals are ridiculous and unsubstantiated, Putin is not somebody you can easily snow, so don’t be surprised if soon all bets are off.
