DBS sets up $10 bln debt issuance programme

SINGAPORE, June 24 (Reuters) - DBS Group (DBSM.SI), Southeast Asia's largest bank, on Thursday set up a $10 billion debt issuance programme from which it will issue senior notes from time to time to raise funds for general working purposes.

The move comes about two weeks after rival United Overseas Bank (UOBH.SI) set up a S$5 billion euro medium term note programme to raise money for general corporate purposes. (Reporting by Kevin Lim)
