New Issue-CIBC sells $1.25 bln in 5-yr covered bonds
June 25 (Reuters) - Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce Toronto Branch on Friday sold $1.25 billion in five-year covered bonds in the 144a private placement market, said IFR, a Thomson Reuters service. The notes are guaranteed by CIBC Covered Bond Guarantor Ltd Partnership .
Bank of America Merrill Lynch, CIBC, RBS, HSBC, and JP Morgan were the joint bookrunning managers for the sale.
