New Issue-CIBC sells $1.25 bln in 5-yr covered bonds

  June 25 (Reuters) - Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce
Toronto Branch on Friday sold $1.25 billion in five-year
covered bonds in the 144a private placement market, said IFR, a
Thomson Reuters service. The notes are guaranteed by CIBC
Covered Bond Guarantor Ltd Partnership

  Bank of America Merrill Lynch, CIBC, RBS, HSBC, and JP
Morgan were the joint bookrunning managers for the sale.
