-- China's Taobao, owned by the country's largest e-commerce company Alibaba Group, unveiled a 100 million yuan ($14.71 million) joint venture on Tuesday with Wasu Media Internet, a subsidiary of Wasu Digital Television Media Group, to run a new online platform that could make it the country's largest online retailer of digital content.
-- Six people were killed and nine injured, including a Hong Kong man, when all 11 cabins on a popular amusement park ride in Shenzhen turned upside down on Tuesday, according to the Shenzhen government.
