Mexico's peso jumps by most in almost 1 month
MEXICO CITY, July 6 |
MEXICO CITY, July 6 (Reuters) - Mexico's peso extended sharp gains on Tuesday, jumping by the most in almost a month, helped by a rally in global equites after last week's steep losses.
The peso MXN=MEX01 firmed 1.12 percent to 12.9150 per U.S. dollar, on track for its biggest one-day percentage gain since June 10. (Reporting by Michael O'Boyle; Editing by James Dalgleish)
