* BAGHDAD - Gunmen opened fire at Shi'ite pilgrims returning from the Imam Moussa al-Kadhim shrine wounding five people in the Amiriya district of western Baghdad, an Interior Ministry source said.
* BAGHDAD - A roadside bomb targeting Shi'ite pilgrims killed two people and wounded 21 in Palestine Street, northern Baghdad, police said.
RAMADI - Four policemen were killed and six wounded in western Ramadi, 100 km (60 miles) west of Baghdad, after bombs planted near the houses of local policemen went off, followed by a roadside bomb when security forces arrived at the blast scene, police said.
* KIRKUK - A sticky bomb attached to a car killed the driver and wounded one person near the blast, in southwestern Kirkuk, 250 km (155 miles) north of Baghdad, police said.
BAGHDAD - A roadside bomb targeting Shi'ite pilgrims returning from the Iman Moussa al-Kadhim shrine killed three and wounded 31 in the Mashtal district of eastern Baghdad, an Interior Ministry source said.
BAGHDAD - A car bomb targeting Shi'ite pilgrims wounded 11 in the Bayaa district of southwestern Baghdad, an Interior Ministry source said.
BAGHDAD - A roadside bomb targeting Shi'ite pilgrims walking home from the Imam Moussa al-Kadhim shrine wounded 14 in southeastern Baghdad, an Interior Ministry source said.
BAGHDAD - A female suicide bomber on Wednesday targeted Shi'ite pilgrims walking to the Imam Moussa al-Kadhim shrine in northern Baghdad, killing 28 and wounding 136, according to a final toll, an Interior Ministry source said.
BAGHDAD - A roadside bomb targeting Shi'ite pilgrims killed five and wounded 36 on Wednesday in the New Baghdad district of eastern Baghdad, an Interior Ministry source said.
BAGHDAD - Two roadside bombs targeting Shi'ite pilgrims killed 14 and wounded 100 on Wednesday in western Baghdad, an Interior Ministry source said.
BAGHDAD - A roadside bomb targeting Shi'ite pilgrims killed four and wounded 46 on Wednesday in the Bab al-Muadham neighbourhood of central Baghdad, an Interior Ministry source said.
