Seoul shares post 25-mth closing high on techs

Institutions sold a net 8.4 billion won worth of shares and
retail investors offloaded a net 814.7 billion won worth.

Advancers outnumbered decliners 560 to 258 and 64 issues
ended flat.

Trading turnover was 8 trillion won, compared with 5.5
trillion won in the previous session.

The KOSPI 200 Sept futures index KSc1 ended up 3.90 points
at 230.35, and the KOSPI 200 spot index .KS200 gained 3.13
points to 229.27.

The junior Kosdaq market .KQ11 ended 0.44 percent higher at
499.97.
