HOUSTON, July 15 (Reuters) - BP Plc <BP.L's> (BP.N) aimed to launch a critical pressure test on its leaking Gulf of Mexico oil well on Thursday after the company replaced a leaking hose that had halted the operation, a company executive said.

Kent Wells, BP's senior vice president of exploration and production, said BP replaced the hose. "We landed it this morning," he said, and would launch the test later Thursday.
