Citi's Srikanth to join Reliance as deputy CFO-srcs

MUMBAI, July 16 (Reuters) - Indian energy major Reliance Industries (RELI.BO) is set to appoint V. Srikanth, formerly with Citigroup (C.N), as deputy chief financial officer, two sources with direct knowledge told Reuters on Friday.

Srikanth was head of markets for South Asia at Citi, the sources said.

On Thursday, Citi had appointed former Nomura (8604.T) executive Pankaj Vaish as its South Asia markets head, the latest in a slew of hirings by banks to boost their presence in fast-growing economies such as India.
