LUANDA, July 21 | Wed Jul 21, 2010 6:01am EDT

LUANDA, July 21 (Reuters) - Portugal's biggest buildling firm, Mota Engil (MOTA.LS), does not expect its first half results to be affected by millions of dollars in late payments from Angola, which represents 20 percent of its business.

Chief Executive Officer Jorge Coelho told Reuters Mota Engil and other construction firms had signed an agreement with the Angolan government to settle the late bills and said he was confident the oil-rich African state would soon pay up. (Reporting by Henrique Almeida)
