Omron: strike at Guangzhou plant halts some output

TOKYO, July 21 (Reuters) - Japan's Omron Corp (6645.OS) said on Wednesday a strike at its auto components-making factory in Guangzhou, China, has caused some production to halt, confirming an earlier Reuters report. [ID:nTOE66K04K]

A company spokesman said about 200-300 workers are striking, out of a total staff of about 800, demanding a pay raise of 500 yuan ($74) per month. (Reporting by Sachi Izumi)
