Mexico's Megacable says Q2 net falls 14.6 pct y/y

MEXICO CITY, July 27 (Reuters) - Megacable, one of Mexico's largest cable television operators, said on Tuesday its second-quarter net profit fell 14.6 percent year-on-year due partly to higher financing costs.

Guadalajara-based Megacable (MEGACPO.MX) said it earned 430 million pesos ($33 million) in the April-June period. ($1 = 12.94 pesos as of end-June) (Reporting by Noel Randewich and Mica Rosenberg)
