Obama voices concern about leaked Afghan war documents

WASHINGTON, July 27 | Tue Jul 27, 2010 12:43pm EDT

WASHINGTON, July 27 (Reuters) - U.S. President Barack Obama said on Tuesday he was concerned that leaked Afghan war documents could jeopardize individuals and operations but that the papers revealed no new information that had not already been a part of public debate.

Obama, speaking after a meeting with congressional leaders from both parties, also said he would continue to push for climate change legislation, despite a Senate decision to focus energy reform more narrowly for now. (Reporting by Matt Spetalnick)
