Quebec sells C$500 mln debt in reopening

NEW YORK, July 27 (Reuters) - The Province of Quebec on Tuesday sold C$500 million ($485 million) of debt in a reopening of an existing 5.00 percent issue, according to a term sheet seen by Reuters.

The debt will mature on Dec. 1, 2041 and was priced at 104.5340 to yield 4.721 percent, or 93 basis points over the Canadian government benchmark, according to the term sheet.

The lead manager on the sale was the investment dealer arm of National Bank of Canada. ($1=C$1.03) (Reporting by Caryn Trokie; Editing by Theodore d'Afflisio)
