Toyota expects to be able to build Prius in North America
TOKYO |
TOKYO (Reuters) - A senior executive of Toyota Motor Corp (7203.T) said on Tuesday he expects the automaker to be able to build Prius gas-electric hybrid cars in North America from the next remodeling.
Atsushi Niimi, Toyota executive vice president in charge of production, also said he expects a slow recovery in the U.S. market.
