July 28 (Reuters) - Wallpaper and furnishings maker Walker Greenbank (WGB.L) forecast first-half results significantly ahead of its view, helped by customer restocking and strong performance of its brands, sending its shares up more than 18 percent.

The company, whose brands include Zoffany, Sanderson and Harlequin, sees a nearly four-fold growth in pretax profit to 2.1 million pounds ($3.3 million) for the six months to end-July.

Turnover is expected to rise at least 13 percent to 33 million pounds.

The company said it was confident of its prospects for the full year.

Shares of the company were up 12.3 percent at 34.25 pence at 0747 GMT on Wednesday on the London Stock Exchange. They touched a high of 36 pence earlier in the session. ($1=.6413 Pound) (Reporting by Aditi Samajpati in Bangalore; Editing by Vinu Pilakkott)
