China steel output dipped 2.4 pct in mid July - CISA

SHANGHAI, July 29 (Reuters) - China produced an average 1.65 million tonnes of steel on a daily basis in the middle 10 days of July, 2.4 percent less than the preceding 10 days, data from the China Iron & Steel Association seen by Reuters showed on Thursday.

The average rate of production in the middle 10 days of July indicates annual overall output of 6 million tonnes for the year. (Reporting by Ruby Lian and Tom Miles)
