UPDATE 1-Navigant Consulting Q2 profit meets Street view

* Still sees FY10 adj EPS $0.75-$0.85 vs est $0.76 July 29 (Reuters) - Financial and regulatory consultancy firm Navigant Consulting Inc (NCI.N) reported a quarterly profit in line with analysts' estimates and reaffirmed its full-year earnings forecast, which is largely above Wall Street expectations.
Net income for the second quarter was $7.8 million, or 16 cents a share, compared with $3.4 million, or 7 cents a share, in the year-ago quarter.
Excluding items, the company earned 17 cents a share.
Analysts expected the company to earn 17 cents a share, excluding items, according to Thomson Reuters I/B/E/S.
Total revenue fell about 1 percent to $172.3 million and missed analysts' view of $175.8 million.
For 2010, the company still expects adjusted earnings of 75 cents to 85 cents a share, on revenue view of $700 million to $750 million.
Analysts were expecting earnings of 76 cents a share, on revenue of $716.8 million.
