India's Tata Steel to invest $214 mln in new plants

MUMBAI Aug 20 (Reuters) - India's Tata Steel (TISC.BO), the world's seventh-largest steelmaker, said on Friday it would invest 10 billion rupees ($214 million) to set up a plant that would produce 50,000 tons of ferro chrome a year and a second plant that would produce 400,000 of rebar steel a year.
