BRASILIA Aug 24 (Reuters) - Ruling party candidate Dilma Rousseff has about an 18 percentage point lead over her nearest challenger in the Oct. 3 race for Brazil's presidency, a poll showed on Tuesday.

Rousseff had 46 percent of voting support, while opposition candidate Jose Serra had 28.1 percent, the Sensus poll said. A survey released by pollsters Datafolha on Saturday showed Rousseff ahead by a 47-30 margin.
