LONDON Aug 25 (Reuters) - The euro rose 1 percent on the day against the yen on Wednesday, with traders citing a triggering of stop-loss buy orders helping to boost the single currency across the board.

The euro EURJPY=R hit the day's high of 107.30 yen EURJPY=R according to Reuters data, up more than 1 yen from the day's low of 106.24 yen. Traders said stop losses triggered around 107.00 yen accelerated the euro's climb.

The single currency EUR= was up 0.5 percent on the day at $1.2688 at 0759 GMT, with some in the market citing speculation of a strong reading of a German business sentiment index.
