Publicis in talks for stake in Brazil's Talent - FT

LONDON Aug 26 (Reuters) - Advertising group Publicis (PUBP.PA) is in late-stage negotiations to buy a stake in leading Brazilian ad agency Talent, the Financial Times reported on Thursday.

The deal, a joint venture that could be completed early next month, could value Talent at about $200 million, it said.

The newspaper said WPP (WPP.L), the largest marketing services group, had also considered investing in Talent but is not expected to counter-bid.

The deal would give Paris-based Publicis, the world's third-largest advertising group, access to Talent's 200 staff and clients which include Sony Corp (SNE.N) (6758.T) and Santander (SAN.MC), the FT said.

Publicis was not immediately reachable for comment. (Reporting by Karolina Tagaris; Editing by Richard Chang)
