Eminem leads singles chart, Lil Wayne top debut

NEW YORK (Billboard) - Eminem's "Love The Way You Lie" led Billboard's Hot 100 singles chart for a sixth week on Thursday, while incarcerated rapper Lil Wayne scored the top debut as "Right Above It" entered at No. 6.

The tune, with Drake as featured artist, is also Lil Wayne's highest debuting single as a lead artist. Reportedly part of an EP scheduled for release this fall, it bests the No. 10 arrival of "Got Money," featuring T-Pain, in 2008.

At the other end of the chart, reunited rockers Soundgarden made their Hot 100 debut at No. 96 with "Black Rain." The band's prior radio hits, including "Black Hole Sun," occurred during an era when a physical single was required for entry onto the Hot 100.

Taio Cruz held at No. 2 for a third straight week with "Dynamite." Katy Perry, whose new album "Teenage Dream" is expected to end Eminem's reign on the Billboard 200 chart next week, jumped two places to No. 3 with the title track, while former No. 1 "California Gurls" fell five to No. 8 and album cut "E.T." debuted at No. 42.

Enrique Iglesias held at No. 4 with "I Like It," featuring Pitbull. Mike Posner's "Cooler Than Me" dipped one to No. 7. After appearing on two top 10s this year as a featured vocalist (B.o.B's "Nothin' on You" and Travie McCoy's "Billionaire"), newcomer Bruno Mars scored his first top 10 as a lead act, as "Just The Way You Are" soared seven to No. 9.

"Magic" by B.o.B featuring Rivers Cuomo rose one to No. 10. It marks Weezer frontman Cuomo's second appearance in the top 10; he previously spent a week at No. 10 in October 2005 with his band's "Beverly Hills" in October 2005.

Other debuts included Nelly's "Grillz" at No. 12, Rascal Flatts' "Why Wait" at a career-best start of No. 48, and Maroon 5's "Give a Little More" at No. 86.
