SPA-FRANCORCHAMPS, Belgium Aug 28 (Reuters) - Virgin Racing's Timo Glock and Toro Rosso's Sebastien Buemi were both handed grid penalties for the Belgian Grand Prix after qualifying breaches on Saturday.

Germany's Glock was handed a five place demotion for impeding Hispania's Japanese Sakon Yamamoto, usually the slowest driver on track.

Switzerland's Buemi received a three place penalty for impeding Mercedes' Nico Rosberg -- who himself collected a five place drop for an unscheduled gearbox change after final practice.

Adding to the general re-jig, Mercedes' Michael Schumacher carried a 10-place penalty on the grid with him from the previous Hungarian Grand Prix where he almost drove Williams' Rubens Barrichello into a wall.
