German stocks - Factors to watch on August 30

FRANKFURT Aug 30 (Reuters) - The DAX top-30 index .GDAXI looked set to open 0.5 percent higher on Monday, according to premarket data from brokers Lang & Schwarz at 0600 GMT.
The following are some of the factors that may move German stocks (share price indications at 0558 GMT):
INFINEON (IFXGn.DE)
Indicated 1.1 percent higher
U.S. chipmaker Intel (INTC.O) is to buy the German chipmaker's wireless business in a cash deal valued at $1.4 billion euros, Infineon said. [ID:nWEA5937]

K+S SDFG.DE
Indicated 1.1 percent higher
Potash miner K+S SDFG.DE is specialised enough to weather any takeover of Canadian rival Potash Corp (POT.TO) and survive as a standalone entity, the German firm's finance director told a newspaper. [ID:nLDE67R05I]

Porsche indicated 0.2 percent higher
Porsche will file a petition on Wednesday with a U.S. court in New York to dismiss a lawsuit alleging the German carmaker had committed securities fraud, according to Frankfurter Allgemeine Sonntagszeitung, citing a Porsche spokesman. A group of hedge funds said Porsche SE had deliberately deceived the market as to its intentions to build up a 75 percent stake in Volkswagen.
