GAZA | Tue Aug 31, 2010 3:26pm EDT

GAZA (Reuters) - Hamas Islamists in the Gaza Strip issued a statement Tuesday claiming responsibility for a shooting attack that killed four Israelis in the occupied West Bank on the eve of peace talks in Washington.

The statement from the armed wing of Hamas, a group that opposes any dialogue with the Jewish state, said the "Qassam Brigades announces its full responsibility for the heroic operation in Hebron."

On the contrary, not only killing Palestenian terrorists (sorry freedom fighters) makes a front page and condemnation from the Security Council, it also usually warrants more than a single paragraph. And a great single paragraph it is! BTW, since when has killing pregnant women been deemed heroic? To my memory, not since Rwanda, but I think we didn’t like those guys. Congratulation Mr. al-Mughrabi, new low.
