Nikkei futures in Singapore open up 2.4 pct

TOKYO, Sept 2 (Reuters) - Nikkei futures traded in Singapore SSIU0 opened up 2.4 percent on Thursday after U.S. and Chinese manufacturing data eased investor worries about the global economy.

Nikkei futures traded in Chicago 2NKc1 closed at 9,115, up 2.1 percent from the Osaka close JNIc1. U.S. stocks jumped 3 percent and commodities rallied after the strong U.S. and Chinese manufacturing data. [.N] [COM/WRAP] (Reporting by Aiko Hayashi; Editing by Edwina Gibbs)
