Seoul shares open higher led by tech issues

SEOUL, Sept 3 (Reuters) - Seoul shares opened higher on Friday after rises on Wall Street, with technology issues such as Hynix (000660.KS) leading the way after firm gains in the U.S. Philadelphia semiconductor index .SOX.

The Korea Composite Stock Price Index .KS11 (KOSPI) was up 0.3 percent at 1,780.99 points as of 0003 GMT.
