US econ growth gauge fell to a 6-week low- ECRI

NEW YORK, Sept 3 (Reuters) - A measure of future U.S.
economic growth fell to a six-week low in the latest week,
while the annualized growth rate fell to a 3-week low, a
research group said on Friday.

The Economic Cycle Research Institute, a New York-based
independent forecasting group, said its Weekly Leading Index
fell to 120.6 in the week ending August 27 from 120.9 the
previous week.

That was the lowest since July 16, when it stood at 120.4.

The index's annualized growth rate fell to minus 10.1
percent from minus 9.9 percent a week earlier. That was the
lowest since August 6, when it was minus 10.2.
