(Reuters) - Following are security developments in Afghanistan at 1000 GMT on Saturday.

KUNDUZ - A bomb blast, caused by explosives planted in a motorbike, killed four Afghan policemen and three civilians in northern Kunduz province on Saturday, provincial governor Mohammad Omar said. Several others were wounded, Omar said.

TAKHAR - Troops from NATO-led International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) and Afghan forces killed six insurgents in ground and air assault in northern Takhar province on Friday, ISAF said.

KABUL - ISAF and Afghan forces detained a number of Taliban militants during operations in the last 24 hours in some part of the country, ISAF said.
