COPENHAGEN, Sept 6 (Reuters) - Danish hearing aid and headset maker GN Store Nord (GN.CO) aims to use part of last week's arbitration award won against Poland's TPSA TPSA.WA to fund a buyback programme, and plans more claims against TPSA.

GN said in a statement Monday that it would launch buybacks worth 600 million Danish crowns ($108 million) shortly after it receives the 2.2 billion crowns a Vienna arbitration court on Friday awarded GN. The money is due in the last half of September. [ID:nLDE68301B]

In a separate statement GN said it expected further claims against TPSA to run above 1 billion crowns in the dispute with the Polish telecom, which is controlled by France Telecom (FTE.PA).

The dispute, which has run for nine years, concerned the determination of traffic volumes carried over a fibre-optic network relating to GN unit Danish Polish Telecommunications Group. (Reporting by Peter Levring; Editing by Will Waterman) ($1=5.546 Danish Crown)
