American Express Credit prices $2 bln notes-IFR

NEW YORK, Sept 8 (Reuters) - American Express Co's (AXP.N) American Express Credit Corp on Wednesday priced $2 billion of five-year senior notes, according to IFR, a Thomson Reuters service.

The notes were priced with a 2.75 percent coupon at 99.416 cents on the dollar to yield 2.876 percent, or 143 basis points over comparable U.S. Treasuries, according to IFR.

Citigroup, Deutsche Bank, Goldman Sachs and RBS were joint book-running managers for the sale, said IFR. (Reporting by Dena Aubin)
