Seoul shares open lower; financials retreat

SEOUL, Sept 8 (Reuters) - Seoul shares opened lower on Wednesday after losses on Wall Street amid renewed concerns about the health of European banks, with financials such as KB Financial Group (105560.KS) retreating.

The Korea Composite Stock Price Index .KS11 (KOSPI) was down 0.43 percent at 1,780.04 points as of 0003 GMT.
