Telemar launches $1 bln 10-year offering-IFR

NEW YORK, Sept 8 (Reuters) - Brazilian telecommunications giant Telemar has launched a $1 billion 10-year debt offering after upsizing it by $250 million, according to IFR, a Thomson Reuters service.
The issue was launched at a yield of 5.5 percent, with pricing expected later on Wednesday, said IFR. (Reporting by Dena Aubin, Editing by Chizu Nomiyama)
