JPMorgan, Samsung to manage Woori Fin sale -report

SEOUL, Sept 8 (Reuters) - JPMorgan (JPM.N) and two South Korean brokerages will manage the sale of Woori Finance Holdings (053000.KS), South Korea's third-biggest banking group by market value, a media report said on Wednesday.

Samsung Securities (016360.KS) and Daewoo Securities (006800.KS) have been picked along with JPMorgan to manage the sale of a 57 percent stake in Woori held by the Korean government worth an estimated $6 billion, MoneyToday said in an unsourced report.

Representatives of a government agency tasked with overseeing the sale were not immediately available for comment.
