HOUSTON, Sept 9 (Reuters) - Valero Energy Corp (VLO.N) was restarting a crude unit and three others at its 310,000 barrel per day Port Arthur, Texas refinery on Thursday, a company spokesman said.

The crude unit, called an atmospheric vacuum unit, a diesel hydrotreater and two sulfur recovery units were knocked offline by a power outage on Wednesday.

"All affected units at the Port Arthur refinery are in restart mode," said Valero spokesman Bill Day said in a statement on Thursday. "The SRUs are in operation while the hydrotreater and crude unit are in circulation. We do not expect that there will be a significant impact to supply."
