LONDON, Sept 10 (Reuters) - The euro rose 1 percent on the day against the Swiss franc on Friday as the Swiss currency came under broad selling pressure due to a rise in risk appetite.

The euro EURCHF= hit the day's high of 1.3012 francs according to Reuters data. Traders cited Swiss banks selling the safe-haven franc against the euro, dollar and other currencies.

An announcement by Dubai World has reached a formal agreement on a debt deal was helping to warm demand for riskier currencies, market participants said. [ID:nLDE6890IT]
