Obama: announcement soon on consumer agency head

WASHINGTON, Sept 10 (Reuters) - President Barack Obama said on Friday he would announce his nominee to head a consumer financial protection bureau soon.

He said he had spoken to Elizabeth Warren, a Harvard University law professor credited with conceiving the idea for the agency. And, when asked if he was concerned about getting Warren confirmed in the Senate, said he was concerned about all nominations.
