German stocks - Factors to watch on September 28
FRANKFURT, Sept 28 |
FRANKFURT, Sept 28 (Reuters) - The DAX top-30 index .GDAXI looked set to open 0.1 percent higher on Tuesday, according to premarket data from brokers Lang & Schwarz at 0610 GMT.
The following are some of the factors that may move German stocks (share price indications at 0610 GMT):
BMW (BMWG.DE)
Indicated 0.3 percent lower
The German carmaker's supervisory board will offer Chief Executive Norbert Reithofer a five-year contract extension to September 2016 at a meeting on Wednesday, the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung reported. [ID:nLDE68Q24I]

EON indicated 0.2 percent higher
RWE indicated unchanged
The German Chancellor's cabinet is expected to agree the government's energy programme today, including a controversial plan to extend the lifespans of nuclear power plants.

Indicated unchanged in Frankfurt

TUI (TUIGn.DE)
Indicated unchanged
Credit rating agency Moody's revised TUI's outlook to stable from negative, saying recently announced measures to refinance shipping line Hapag-Lloyd may benefit the liquidity profile of TUI and that the recovery in the shipping market should increase the recovery prospects of TUI's exposure to Hapag-Lloyd, in which TUI owns a stake of about 43 percent.

Q-CELLS (QCEG.DE)
Indicated 2.3 percent lower
The solar cell maker plans a capital increase and a new convertible bond to buy back an existing convertible bond, Q-Cells said in a statement. The subscription periods and the repurchase offer are expected to start Sept. 29.
Q Cells also said it now sees 2010 sales of 1.2-1.3 billion euros, compared with a previous outlook of 1.1-1.3 billion, and expects to post an operating profit in the third and fourth quarters. [ID:LDE68R07R]
