JAKARTA, Sept 28 (Reuters) - U.S. private equity firm Texas Pacific Group [TPG.UL] is interested in investing in Indonesia's aviation and infrastructure sectors, a spokesman for Indonesia's vice president said on Tuesday.

David Bonderman, a founder of Texas Pacific Group, met Indonesia's Vice President Boediono on Tuesday, said Yopie Hidayat, a spokesman for Boediono. "The essence of the talks today is they are considering investing in Indonesia, either portfolio investment or foreign direct investment," Hidayat said.

"There are some areas that they are targetting which are aviation industries, airlines, and airport infrastructure." (Reporting by Olivia Rondonuwu; Editing by Sara Webb)
