QUITO, Sept 30 (Reuters) - Supporters of Ecuadorean President Rafael Correa reached the hospital where he was being treated on Thursday, and some hurled rocks at police outside who stopped them entering, a Reuters witness said.

"The president is being held hostage inside," shouted Fernando Jaramillo, 54, a Correa supporter at the scene. (Reporting by Guillermo Granja)
