US systemic risk council to meet Nov 23 - Treasury

WASHINGTON Oct 25 (Reuters) - The Financial Stability Oversight Council set up to cope with the potential overriding risks to the U.S. economy meets again on Nov. 23 to discuss how to get the new organization up and running, Deputy Treasury Secretary Neal Wolin said on Monday.

"I expect that the Council will continue its work on systemic risk and discuss the criteria for designating systemic nonbank financial institutions and financial market utilities," Wolin said in prepared remarks for delivery to a conference at Georgetown University.
