German stocks - Factors to watch on October 29

FRANKFURT Oct 29 (Reuters) - The DAX top-30 index .GDAXI looked set to open 0.2 percent lower on Friday, according to premarket data from brokers Lang & Schwarz at 0605 GMT.
The following are some of the factors that may move German stocks (share price indications at 0606 GMT):
SAP (SAPG.DE)
Indicated unchanged
SAP made a last-minute change in legal strategy on Thursday night to narrow the scope of a high-stakes trial over charges it stole intellectual property from Oracle Corp (ORCL.O). That prompted Oracle to ask a judge to delay the start of court proceedings by three days so it can revise its own trial strategy. SAP said in a court filing that it would prefer to keep to the original schedule. [ID:nN28287298]

DEUTSCHE BANK (DBKGn.DE)
Indicated 0.2 percent higher
Shareholders representing 1.29 percent of Postbank (DPBGn.DE) voting capital have tendered their shares in response to Deutsche Bank's takeover offer, Deutsche Bank said late Thursday. Deutsche Bank now controls a 31.24 percent voting stake in Postbank. Postbank shareholders have until November 24 to tender shares.

ALLIANZ AG (ALVG.DE), MUNICH RE (MUVGn.DE)
Allianz indicated 0.2 percent higher
Munich Re indicated 0.1 percent higher
The German reinsurers have been deemed globally "systematically relevant" Handelsblatt newspaper reported. So far, Deutsche Bank was the only candidate for the globally-recognized list, which is being compiled by financial regulators and is due to be published next year.

COMMERZBANK (CBKG.DE)
Indicated 0.2 percent lower
The lender expects to post earnings of up to 1 billion euros in its private banking business in 2012, Boersen-Zeitung newspaper reported.

LUFTHANSA (LHAG.DE)

Rival British Airways BAY.L reported profit before tax of 158 million pounds sterling in the six months ended September, up from a loss of 292 million in the year earlier period. It said that it will complete its merger with Spain's Iberia IBLA.MC -- which also swung to a nine-month profit from a year earlier loss -- by January 2011 and remains positive but warns that the economic environment continues to be subject to uncertainty. Spanish predator ACS (ACS.MC), which last month made a low-ball all-share advance on Hochtief, on Thursday evening posted a 36.5 percent decline in nine-month net profit to 1.13 billion euros, in line with analyst forecasts, due to lower one-time gains from asset sales compared with a year ago.
