Shots fired at Korean border - South's defence ministry

SEOUL Oct 29 (Reuters) - North Korea fired gunshots across its heavily armed border towards rival South Korea on Friday, a defence ministry official in Seoul said.

Local media said the shots were fired toward a frontline unit in Hwacheon in the eastern province of Gangwon.
