Boehner wants Bush tax cuts extended for all

WASHINGTON | Wed Nov 3, 2010 12:17pm EDT

WASHINGTON Nov 3 (Reuters) - U.S. House of Representatives Republican leader John Boehner said on Wednesday that extending the Bush tax cuts for all income groups is the right policy.

Boehner, expected to become House speaker after Republicans took the House from the Democratic Party in Tuesday's elections, also told a news conference that he sees no problem working with Tea Party conservative members on Republicans' legislative priorities. Boehner is already ignoring the polls-what a surprise-most Americans do not agree with extending tax cuts above the first 250k made. He’s already breaking his pledge to listen to the American people & doing what’s best for the wealthy!

The new congress isn’t even in place and Boehner has already created an even bigger Federal Deficit….extending the Bush tax cuts to the rich is not just a budget breaker, it will break the value of the dollar.

It’s time to vote the Republicans out of congress as well……they are the reason we have such a huge deficit!

No tax cuts without matching military spending cuts!

Serious question for any Republicans out there. If your top priority and philosophy of “trickle down economics” (more tax cuts to the rich creates jobs) really worked…how do you explain this?

Read what David Stockman…Ronald Reagan’s budget director…has to say:

From 60 Minutes interview
October 31, 2010
The Battle Over Taxing The Rich

“In 1985, the top five percent of the households, wealthiest five percent, had net worth of $8 trillion, which is a lot. Today, after serial bubble after serial bubble, the top five percent have net worth of $40 trillion,” he explained. The top five percent have gained more wealth than the whole human race had created prior to 1980.”

I’m seriously asking you, Republicans. If giving these people even more money makes them hire more people…why haven’t they been doing it ALREADY?
