NZ economic recovery may be prolonged-RBNZ's Bollard
WELLINGTON |
WELLINGTON Nov 19 (Reuters) - The New Zealand economic recovery could be a prolonged process as the economy rebalances and fiscal stimulus is gradually withdrawn, the Reserve Bank of New Zealand Governor Alan Bollard said on Friday. New Zealand is one of a number of developed economies seeking to rebalance its economy and reduce debt in the wake of the global financial crisis, Bollard said in a speech to a business conference.
